In June 2020, I completed my 22nd year of teaching in Johnston County Public Schools. I began my career in NY, moved to NC and began teaching at Four Oaks Middle. In 2005, I began teaching 8th grade ELA at Cleveland MS. In the past, I also coached volleyball and cheerleading.
I am the proud Mom of two children who are involved with travel soccer.
I enjoy cooking, reading, traveling, and watching my children play soccer.
I'm looking forward to a great year!!

At a Special Session meeting on Oct. 27, the Johnston County Board of Education approved the following calendar changes: adding two wellness days and an optional teacher work day to the district’s November calendar.

Johnston County Public Schools is now offering a Substitute Teacher Temporary Incentive Pay Plan for substitutes.
At their August meeting, the Johnston County Board of Education voted 4-3 to make face coverings required indoors in all Johnston County Public Schools campuses and on all buses for students, staff, and guests. This updated mask requirement is effective immediately.
