I am Mrs. Rojas and I am the ESL teacher at Cleveland Middle School and Clayton Middle School. I was born in Puerto Rico, home to beautiful beaches, a festive culture, and amazing food. My parents are from Colombia, land of exotic flora and fauna, home of the Amazon River, and beautiful, happy people. I have been teaching for 16 years, the last 8 years, have been in North Carolina as an EL teacher, and I love it. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with English as Second Language licensure, and hold a Master's Degree from NC State University as a Reading Specialist. I am very happy to teach my wonderful group of English Learners vocabulary, reading, and comprehension skills, among other skills that will help them become successful students. I am very excited to work with your child this year!
