Mrs. Dawn DeSimone
Welcome 6th graders to the 2019-2020 school year! This year is going to be full of exciting new adventures where you will all have a chance to learn and grow. I am so excited to meet all my new students. Hopefully you can come to open house on Thursday August 22nd
Just a few hints for new students 1) We walk you to your classes until you can find them on your own. 2) You will get lockers about the second week of school. They are combination locks so you can practice on one if you have one at home. 3) Parents no child has gotten lost in middle school or is ever left standing in a hallway crying. They will be well taken care of. There is no need to stress over the summer.
Supplies Needed for SS: *1 composition notebook with atleast 100 pgs. (sorry spiral notebooks will not work because they fall apart) * pencils and colored pencils (crayons will not work) *glue sticks (will need lots of them for entire school year) *notebook paper, divider tabs with pockets, and binder. There is a complete list for all classes on Cleveland middle school's website
Parents: It is important you sign up for remind. That will be how I send out homework/project and test reminders. They will not be listed on the website. Your child will also have an agenda book that they will be required to use. Please check to make sure they are keeping up with writing down assignments and completing them.
