Degrees and Certifications:
I started my teaching career at Cleveland in 2001. My own children had already been students here so I knew what a wonderful school it is.
I am a graduate of UNCC and attended Campbell University to earn my Teaching Certificate. My own children have best taught me what children are like and what they need. Even though Cliff and Charlotte are an attorney and a teacher, I always keep in mind the things that have helped them to be successful and happy in education. At the same time, I keep in mind how parents feel about their little ones. It is very important to me that Kindergarten is a positive experience for all and the beginning of lifelong learning.
Learning is so exciting for the learner and the teacher. My role will be teacher but I look forward to learning along with you and your child as we journey through this year together.

Attention parents of 4-year-olds: Are you interested in your child attending a free preschool program? The NC PreK program is designed to provide 4-year-old children with positive early learning experiences that support their development and prepare them for Kindergarten.
JCPS high schools will host “modified” traditional graduation ceremonies between Wednesday, July 29, 2020 - Saturday, August 1, 2020. Schools will communicate about specific graduation dates and ceremony times as we get closer to see what restrictions may limit our attendance participation.
