Mrs. Sherri Cabascango

          I am originally from Western Pennsylvania.   I earned my BS in education from Houghton College, NY after student teaching at an Inner City Buffalo school followed by an International School in Zurich,  Switzerland.  I began my teaching career in Miami, FL.  I earned my MA in Linguistics at Florida International University.  I also met my husband, John while I was in Miami.  Since then John and I have settled in Clayton, NC where we are raising our three boys – Esteban 18 who attends the University of Richmond,  Santiago 15  & Cristian 13. I have worked here at Cleveland Elementary for 6 years.





      I can't wait to meet you!  Our OPEN HOUSE is set for Wednesday, August 21 from 4PM-6PM.  Make certain to bring your school supplies. Our first official day of 4th grade is set for Monday, August 26th!

    Johnston County Public Schools will begin graduation season with two ceremonies on Friday, May 15, followed by eight traditional high school ceremonies on Friday, May 29.

  • New deadline in JCEF grant process

    The Johnston County Education Foundation has changed its grant process from a three cycle a year process, to a once a year process. The grant deadline will now be November 15th each year and Grant Patrol will be held on the first Wednesday of December.
