Mrs. Sherri Cabascango
I am originally from Western Pennsylvania. I earned my BS in education from Houghton College, NY after student teaching at an Inner-City Buffalo school followed by an International School in Zurich, Switzerland. I began my teaching career in Miami, FL. I earned my MA in Linguistics at Florida International University. I also met my husband, John, while I was in Miami. Since then, John and I have settled in Clayton, NC. We have three sons - Esteban, 21 who attends the University of Richmond, Santiago, 18 who attends UNCG as a viola music performance major, & Cristian, 16 who attends Cleveland High. I have worked here at Cleveland Elementary for 9 years.

Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23
We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
