Welcome Back Cleveland STAR students and families!
NEW!!! My Wish List! Since no one will see my Bulletin Board in person for a while...I have had to roll with the times and create the Popular Amazon Wish List! My hope with this Wish List is to create an "Art at Home - Art in a Bag!" This will cover EVERY student in our school: Virtual, Remote/Face to Face!!! Yay! I want students to be as uniform as possible and this list takes care of that! Help if you can! We can do this! Let's go STARS!!!!
ART AT HOME - ART IN A BAG (FOR EVERY STUDENT)
I have been working extra hard to get the students' artwork from last school year sorted. It is taking a very long time to do along side prepping for the new year. It is going to take me a few weeks to get it all sorted and then giving it back to the students will be an additional challenge as they are no longer in the same grade or have the same teacher. Thank you so much for your patience. I wanted to post an update because I don't want the students to think they aren't getting their artwork back. They will...it is just taking some extra time.
The Art Room Needs...
*Masking Tape (I use this a lot)
*Baby Wipes (for white boards and tables)
*Black Sharpie Markers (any thickness)...these are great for many projects

Information on social distancing in school settings has been recently updated by the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). Upon receiving information from the NCDHHS, we consulted with the Johnston County Public Health Department on the impact these updates will have on our school system. This ongoing collaboration continues to guide our decision-making as students return to classrooms for in-person instruction.
As students in grades K-5 begin returning to school, the curbside locations for free meals will now be located at each middle and high school. The curbside meal locations at our elementary schools will end on Friday, Oct. 2 and will open at the middle and high schools on Monday, Oct. 5.
