Hi Cleveland Star Families! Please read below for information on how to connect with me during this time at home.
Please Join my Cleveland ART Facebook group. You will have to answer three questions to join. Once you are in the group...there are some fun options for your student to enjoy in order to keep creating at home for now. It's a great way to connect and share their work and I can provide feedback for them. We want them to continue being "Art SmART!" Thank you for the many parents that have already found and joined this group.

Students are also being invited to my Google Classrooms. These are by grade level. This is a great way for me to be able to communicate directly with the students.

Degrees and Certifications:
Hello! Welcome to my page!
I have taught in Johnston county for 17.3 years and this year is moving into my 18th year of teaching.
I obtained my BA in Art (concentration Graphic Design) from Campbell University and completed my teaching license for K-12 Visual Arts Education from Meredith College.
I have two children (14 year old son and 9 year old daughter). I also have a "furbaby"...a toy poodle, "Phoebe." My husband, children, and self all love Art.
As the school year comes to a close, please note that JCPS meal service will now operate at 9 sites during the summer months, rather than the previous 14. Summer meal service will begin Monday, June 1. Curbside meals will be served Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Benson Middle, Clayton Middle, Four Oaks Elementary, North Johnston Middle, Princeton Elementary, Selma Elementary, Smithfield-Selma High, West Clayton Elementary, and West Smithfield Elementary.
Attention parents of 4-year-olds: Are you interested in your child attending a free preschool program? The NC PreK program is designed to provide 4-year-old children with positive early learning experiences that support their development and prepare them for Kindergarten.
JCPS high schools will host “modified” traditional graduation ceremonies between Wednesday, July 29, 2020 - Saturday, August 1, 2020. Schools will communicate about specific graduation dates and ceremony times as we get closer to see what restrictions may limit our attendance participation.
