I am the Physical Education Teacher at Cleveland Elementary. I graduated from Campbell University and I am currently in my 12th year of teaching at Cleveland Elementary. It is important for every parent to help your child to remember to wear tennis shoes to PE everytime. Students in grades K-3 come to me once every 7 school days and grades 4-5 come once every 6 school days, so please check with your child's teacher for their specials schedule.

        sports  Welcome Back!! sports

Specials will begin on the second day of school, August 27th. Please make sure you check your child's folder for their specials schedule and help them remember to wear appropriate clothing and SHOES!!! This year K-3 students are on a 7 day rotation and 4-5 students are on a 6 day rotation. In our elementary PE classes we focus on building physical literacy (skills) to help us be more successful in various activities and sports we are involved in outside of school. A few activities that I lead throughout the year are: Red Ribbon Week, Kid's Heart Challenge (AHA fundraiser), and Field Day. I can't wait to have a successful year with each and every Cleveland child!
