Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Education with an add on license for English as a Second or Other Language Teaching National Board Certification
Mrs. Lisa Hardee
My name is Lisa Hardee and I have been teaching for 20 years now. I received my degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a major in Elementary Education and a concentration in Psychology. I went on to achieve my National Board Certification in 2002 and just completed the renewal process this past year! I also added English as a Second Language to my licenses and have been teaching ESL now for 5 years. I am so proud to be part of the West View and Cleveland Family! I live in the Cleveland Area with my husband, Joseph and my two sons, Dalton (17) and Parker (13).
In my classroom you will find students that are engaged, motivated, challenged, learning, and happy! I believe students need hands-on, meaningful experiences to make sense of their world. The rules and expectations for our classroom are consistent and clear. I hold high expectations and want to see each child's personal best. I acknowledge that all students are individuals and they can all contribute to our classroom! All students know they can and will make mistakes but it is okay to take risks. We celebrate all our successes along the way no matter how BIG or small. I have a passion for teaching and learning and I want to develop that same passion in each of my students!
