    Welcome to Fifth Grade at Cleveland Elementary! My name is Jeffrey Henry and I will be teaching your child Science and Social Studies this school year. This will be my 8th year of teaching. I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I am I am currently going to NC State for my Masters in Administration. Before teaching I spent time in the United States Marine Corps and working in the criminal justice system in NC.  

    I have been married for 12 years and have two rescue dogs Grunt (15 years old) and Gracie (11 Years old). I enjoy being active, riding motorcycles, playing basketball, and spending time with friends and family. 

    I am looking forward to working with you and your child this school year. Positive and open communication between students, parents, and myself is very important to me. Please don't ever hesitate to call, email, or send me a note!

  • New deadline in JCEF grant process

    The Johnston County Education Foundation has changed its grant process from a three cycle a year process, to a once a year process. The grant deadline will now be November 15th each year and Grant Patrol will be held on the first Wednesday of December.
