COVID has been hard on everyone and this includes our library. We lost over $3000 dollars worth of books when we left in the middle of the year because of COVID. I have made an Amazon Wish list full of books that students want to see in our library. Please help us by buying a book for our library! Thank you!!!

Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Holly W. Bailey
I am a Media Specialist at Cleveland Elementary. I graduated from NC State in 2001 and then became a teacher assistant at Princeton Elementary School. I began working on my Master's degree in 2006 and I received my Master's Degree in Library Science from East Carolina University in 2009. I married my husband and we moved to Vicenza, Italy in 2009. I worked in Military Pay while living in Italy and gave birth to my wonderful son. We left Italy in 2013 and moved to New York where I worked as a Military Pay supervisor before moving back to North Carolina. When we moved back here, I was fortunate enough to get a job as a Media Specialist at Cleveland Elementary School, where I have been since then. I love working with my wonderful students and being a part of this amazing community!

North Carolina schools are required to administer ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 to all students identified as English Learners (ELs) in the spring of each year to determine their progress in learning English. Each student is tested in four areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. This assessment helps us monitor their English language development.
