Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Briana Hines
My name is Briana Hines and I am the full-time school counselor here at Cleveland Elementary. This is my second year here and I am so excited to be part of the Cleveland family! I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Criminology from UNCW and my Master's Degree in School Counseling from UNC-Chapel Hill (GO TARHEELS!). Prior to working as a school counselor, I worked as a preschool teacher and volunteered as a Guardian Ad Litem.
Here at Cleveland, you will see me doing many things in order to promote the success and well-being of all of our students. The majority of my time is spent providing classroom guidance lessons, small group counseling sessions, individual counseling sessions, and parent and teacher consultation. You will find more information about these services under the "Counseling Program" tab.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. You can call, email, or stop by my office anytime throughout the day. My door is always open unless I am meeting with a student or parent, or in a classroom. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org. I look forward to an awesome year!
Johnston County Public Schools will begin using Here Comes the Bus in the 2019-2020 school year! Here Comes the Bus is a school bus tracking app that gives parents real-time bus location information and alerts to get students to the bus stop on time. The app is expected to roll out by the first day of school, August 26...
The Johnston County Education Foundation has changed its grant process from a three cycle a year process, to a once a year process. The grant deadline will now be November 15th each year and Grant Patrol will be held on the first Wednesday of December.
