•  Welcome!  Here is the best way to stay in touch this year:

My science classes use google classroom as the primary way to access class info.  7th grade students for the 2022-23 school year will receive an email invitation to join my google classroom.

Parents who would like to receive class updates from Classroom can email me at michaelbutler@johnston.k12.nc.us

Parents signing up to receive classroom updates will be able to choose the frequency of the updates, and can view late assignments, upcoming assignments, and class announcements.

For more information about Science class please visit the 7th grade science website.

Michael Butler

After growing up in Columbus, Ohio, my wife Katie and I moved to NC in 2006.  Besides spending time with my family, I enjoy reading, landscaping, playing disc golf, and strategy games.  This is now my 17th year teaching 7th grade Science and coaching track at Clayton Middle, and I'm looking forward to another great year!
