Mrs. Aimee Presti

My name is Aimee Presti and I teach 7th grade ELA, at Swift Creek Middle School. It has been a wonderful summer, but I'm excited to get started with the 2019-2020 school year!

I have two fantastic children, two amazing step-children and an incredible husband.  We recently moved to the Cleveland area and are enjoying meeting new faces.  I've lived in a lot of different places, but North Carolina has become "home."  During middle school, my family moved from one side of the country to the other.  Reflecting on that time helps me relate to middle school students and all the transitions they face.  I have an undeniable passion for these kids and count it an honor to be involved in their "growing up" process.  It is a privilege to be part of the Swift Creek Middle School team, and I'm looking forward to a great year!

Please ask your child to help you sign into his/her Google Classroom page, for this class.  You can also email me (aimeepresti@johnston.k12.nc.us) and I will "invite" you to the "classroom." I update Google Classroom daily; You will be able to see everything your child is working on, along with several due dates.

This year, your student will have Enhancement classes from 9:51-11:18.  I am available for parent meetings and phone calls, during this time.  You can also reach me via Remind 101 and through email.  I will send the Remind codes home with your students, on the first day.
