Mrs. Aimee Presti

My name is Aimee Presti and I teach Reading Enrichment, at Swift Creek Middle School. It has been a wonderful summer, but I'm excited to get started with the 2020-2021 school year!

I live in the Cleveland Community with my husband, our four kids and our dog, Rosie.  I've lived in a lot of different places, but North Carolina has become "home."  When I was 12 years old, my family moved from one side of the country to the other.  Reflecting on that time helps me relate to middle school students and all the transitions they face.  I have an undeniable passion for these kids and count it an honor to be involved in their "growing up" process.  It is a privilege to be part of the Swift Creek Middle School team, and I'm looking forward to a great year!

Due to the nature of virtual learing, I wll be adding students and parents to my Google Classroom pages.  I update Google Classroom daily.  Parents will periodically receive notifications from Classroom.  However, please check your child's Classroom pages, regularly, for new posts and/or missing assignments.  When your child logs into Google Classroom, you will be able to see the pages for every class in which he/she is enrolled.  Click on each one, to check for updates.

This year, my virtual office hours run from 8:10 - 9:10.  If you call or email at this time, I should be able to get back to you right away.  You can also reach me via Remind 101.  I will post the Remind Codes and Enhancement Schedule, the first week of classes.
