This will be my 9th year teaching and my fifth year at Polenta! I previously taught 4 years in New York before moving to North Carolina. I hold my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Long Island University/C.W. Post. I attended Adelphi University and received my Master's Degree in Literacy Education. I was inducted into Alpha Upsilon Alpha Honor Society (International Literacy Association). I have attended Math Foundation Training. As well as, training in instructional strategies to support language and literacy development for ELL students.
