Welcome to 5th grade!

I am excited to have you in my class!  The highlight of my year will be creating leaders in my classroom who love to learn!

I have a degree in Elementary Education with minors in English and Psychology. I am AIG certified.  I was nominated for the Flames For Learning Award in 2016-2017.  In 2019-2020, I was awarded JCS employee of the month.  Additionally, I have mentored Juniors and Seniors from NC State to complete their elementary education course requirements.   This year is my 13th year of teaching.  I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and fifth grade.
