Mrs. Sandra Thornton
I attended Meredith College where I graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education. I have been teaching for eleven years at the elementary level. I am on my second year at Polenta Elementary and previously taught at Lynn Road Elementary in North Raleigh. My focus, as an educator, is to establish an environment in which students are are excited to create and experiment with different art activities. I work to create lessons that allow students to experience as many different types of materials as possible.
