Mrs. Katie Owens
I am so excited to be your fourth grade teacher for the 2020-2021 school year! This will be my fourth year teaching at Polenta Elementary. It's going to be a great year full of learning, new adventures, laughter, and growth. About Me: I am from Clayton, North Carolina. I attended East Carolina University (Go Pirates!) and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I have taught fifth grade at Polenta for the last three years. I currently live in Wendell with my husband, our dog (Remi) and cat (Oliver). I love traveling and being with friends and family. A few of my favorite things include coffee, Target, Amazon, organizing, Chick-Fil-A, mystery books, podcasts, and crafting.
