Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Melissa Sousa
I am so excited about beginning the year with your children, and see how much they grow. I have been teaching for fifteen years; ten years in Kindergarten and three years in third grade. This is my second year in first grade, here at Polenta Elementary. My husband and I moved here from New Jersey four years ago and are enjoying the beauty of North Carolina.
Looking forward to having a great year!
About Myself:
I am a mother of three school-aged children and keep quite busy with them and their activities. I love to spend time with my family and go to the beach when possible and read.
