Bachelor of Arts in Psychology Elementary Education Certification (K-6) AIG Certification

Ms. Cindy Marotta

I am thrilled to be teaching fifth grade ELA/SS. This will be my third year at West View and my eighth year teaching (all done in fifth!). I am a graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey with my degree in psychology and elementary education and am currently pursuing my masters in school administration through Campbell University. I am also AIG certified. I'm excited to see what the new school year holds! When I'm not at school, I spend my time with my daughter, Molly. We're either watching a Canes game or on a Disney trip. I love to read and spend my down time with a book.

  • ACCESS testing for English Language Learners

North Carolina schools are required to administer ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 to all students identified as English Learners (ELs) in the spring of each year to determine their progress in learning English. Each student is tested in four areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. This assessment helps us monitor their English language development.
