Degrees and Certifications:
Masters Degree in Elementary Education
Mrs. Carol Cosetti
Hello, I am excited to start my fourth year at Polenta Elementary as your child's fifth grade teacher! Your child will have the amazing opportunity to have me teach them all of the fifth grade subjects.
As a graduate of Wilmington University located in Delaware, I hold a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. This will be my 21st year in education and I have extensive reading intervention experience as a former Wake County Intervention Specialist. To foster each childs' potential and abilities, I will consistently incorporate Growth Mindset strategies into my classroom and teaching methods. I look forward to getting to know your child, how they best learn and also building a positive relationship with them!
I enjoy sipping coffee first think in the morning (I make at home so kcups are always nice), I also enjoy Pepsi the rest of the day.
My favorite candy is just about anything chocolate, but I also enjoy black licorice (especially Good & Plenty)
Snacking on Veggie Straws is a favorite while watching my favorite tv shows.
If I could wish for anything for my classroom, it would be dry erase markers, post-it notes, pencils, baby wipes, paper towels, clear tape for our dispensers, index cards, thank you notes and AAA batteries for our reading flashlights and AA for some of our math and classroom management tools!
