I've been at Dixon Road Elementary since it opened in 2006. I love working in Johnston County and am very proud of my school!! I graduated from Peace College in Raleigh and attended Campbell University. I have two children, Antonio and Gloria, Antonio graduated from West Johnston High Schoool 2021 and is currently attending JCC and Gloria lives in Greenville and is an ECU Pirate!!

If you would like to purchase your student's photo package, please send payment or pay online using the information provided on the package. If you are not purchasing any photos, please return the photographs to your student's teacher by May 13th.

New Kindergarten Parent Night
Please join us for New Kindergarten Parent Night for the 2022-2023 school year on Tuesday June 7th. This event will take place in our school café from 5:00PM until 6:00 PM. Information will be shared about enrolling and skills for kindergarten success.

Westival
West Johnston High School is hosting a spectacular community event on Saturday, April 23, 2022, 9 am-1 pm. The first annual Westival will have many activities available for our students and community. All ages are welcome!

SECU Blood Drive
Our local Crossroads State Employee Credit Union branch will be hosting a blood drive on April 22nd from 10am – 2pm! Our goal for this drive is 18 units and The Blood Connection will be offering $20 eGift cards to donors.

JCPS Summer Hours
Johnston County Public Schools will be moving to summer office hours on June 13. School and district offices will operate on a four-day work week. Offices will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays and 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursdays. The summer schedule will continue until August 11. All offices will be closed on July 4.

2022 Summer Information Fair Dates Set
Johnston County Public Schools is always striving to provide students and families with exemplary service. In most cases, school bus transportation is essential for many students to access a quality education. In order to meet our daily goal, it is necessary to implement change that enhances and improves our overall operation. As we prepare for the 2022-2023 school year, JCPS Transportation Services and School Nutrition will be hosting a Summer Information Fair at each high school.
