A little about Mrs. D
This is my 24th year teaching and I can't believe it. I guess the saying "time flies when you are having fun" is true. I have been here at WVES since the doors first opened and prior to that I taught at Cleveland Elementary School.
I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida (Go Knights). I have spent my career in elementary education teaching: 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, Gifted (AIG) education, traveled the state of Florida training teachers as a member of the FLARE(Florida Literacy and Reading Excellence) program and coordinated and trained mentors from the community to work with students.
Please visit our Class Dojo page for weekly updates.

Information on social distancing in school settings has been recently updated by the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). Upon receiving information from the NCDHHS, we consulted with the Johnston County Public Health Department on the impact these updates will have on our school system.
