Mrs. Terry Bell

I'm so excited to begin my 9th year teaching 5th Grade here at West View. I was encouraged years ago by the former principal at Cleveland Elementary, Mary Nell Ferguson, to go back to school and earn my K-6 teaching license. I have had the honor and  privilege of teaching many students , but the lessons I have learned from my students, continue to drive me to do better and be better as a person and as an educator.

Other than teaching, I enjoy attending and watching sports with my husband of 29 years, Derrick and our family. We have four children, Amber, Madison, Dossen, and Brakston. Our new son-in-law, Ethan , joined our family earlier this year.

I  love the beach, mountains, and I am an avid  N.C. State fan. Go Pack!!

I am so excited to be your 5th Grade teacher!!

  • Updated Social Distancing Procedures

Information on social distancing in school settings has been recently updated by the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). Upon receiving information from the NCDHHS, we consulted with the Johnston County Public Health Department on the impact these updates will have on our school system. This ongoing collaboration continues to guide our decision-making as students return to classrooms for in-person instruction.
