Welcome back to school! I am so excited to meet you! This will be my 14th year teaching at West View. I have a 3rd grader named Kennedy who attends West View, a four year old son named Reese who will be in Pre-K this year at West View, and a baby boy named Collins who is 17 months.

I love the Carolina Tarheels, beach trips, reading, going to the movies,  and spending time with family. I can't wait to get to know each and every one of you. My hope and desire is for you to have an amazing year in 4th grade. See you soon!

On August 20th from 5pm-7pm, you will meet your child’s homeroom teacher from 5pm-6pm.  During this time, you will also receive your child’s schedule. Your child’s schedule will include the names of the teachers who your child will have for his/her reading and math blocks. There will be contact information for each of your child’s teachers.  From 6pm-7pm, please go to the cafeteria for an informative session with our Principal, Mrs. Mangum.
