Welcome to first grade!  I am so excited to have you as part of our classroom family!  I have taught first grade at West View since we opened.  I am a graduate of UNC Wilmington. I have taught in Johnston County since 2002.  Previously I was in Onslow County.  My husband, Kevin, is a retired United States Marine.  My son works in Apex and is a grad student at NC State.  He also served in the Army National Guard. My daughter, Kelly is self employed and competes with her dog Riley in dock diving. We live in a great country and we all belong here together. We love to camp in the mountains and on the coast.  One of the great things about our class this year is we are all capable of great things and I believe in each and every student! ❤️

I am appreciative for every parent’s commitment and encouragement in their child’s education!  We are a team!
