Mrs. Lisa Hardee
My name is Lisa Hardee. I am the ESL teacher for Cleveland and West View Elementary. I have taught for a total of 20 years. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 5th grades, as well as reading remediation for grades 3-5. I have taught English as a Second language now for 5 years. I live in Clayton with my husband, Joseph and my two boys, Dalton and Parker. I love teaching and am so excited for a new school year!

ACCESS testing for English Language Learners
North Carolina schools are required to administer ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 to all students identified as English Learners (ELs) in the spring of each year to determine their progress in learning English. Each student is tested in four areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. This assessment helps us monitor their English language development.

Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23
We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
