Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Jan Langdon
Hello Fall! School has started with a bang! This is my 25th year teaching and I love it. Over the years, I have taught 5th, 4th and 1st. I have been at West View for 12 years. So glad you are in my class this year. Get ready to learn lots of new things.
We will use Crome books and Lap tops this year. Please go on web.seesaw.me and log on to your child's QR code. You will be able to see how much growth your child will make using this program. Please read for about 20 minutes each night. Any kind of reading is better than none. We have a lot of work to do this year getting them prepared for 2nd grade. I am up for the challenge with your help.
If you think your child would benefit from a pillow, feel free to have them bring one about 12X12 to use in their chair and at carpet time. We have a few different kinds of seating in our room and these make it more comfortable. I reward good behavior and encourage you to help me by checking their binder each night for a great day stamp. I hope to see you this year at open house.
