Welcome to Sixth Grade Math!

I am very excited to welcome you to Swift Creek!  We are going to have a great year.  I love teaching math and building my student's confidence in their math abilities.  We can all be good at math!

I am originally from Michigan and graduated from Western Michigan University.  My husband and I moved to North Carolina 20 years ago and we love it here!  We have two children.  My son is going to be a senior at App State University and loves the mountain life.  He is majoring in Sustainable Technology.  My daughter is going to be a senior at Cleveland High School and is very involved in soccer.  Almost all of my weekends are spent at the soccer field year round.  She has verbally committed to play soccer at Barton University so our soccer days are far from over!

I am looking forward to a great year this year!  Sixth grade math is a fun curriculum and I am excited to watch your child grow and build on their success.
