Mrs. Amy Bumpus

I am looking forward to our 2018-2019 school year here at West View Elementary!  This is my 17th year teaching, and my 5th year at West View.  I graduated from Meredith College, taught 3 years in Wake County, 9 years in Florida while my husband served in the United States Navy, and I am so happy to be teaching in the community in which I was born and raised.

My husband and I have 2 girls, Jayden (y7th grade), and Macy, (3rd grade).  We are very active with our church, as well as softball.  We enjoy camping in our camper, watching sports, and spending time with our friends and family.  We are huge Chicago Cubs fans, Carolina, and Kentucky fans (I'm the Carolina fan, and my husband is the Kentucky fan but we support each other's team as long as they aren't playing each other!)

I look forward to getting to know your families!  I hope your child's 4th grade year is successful and memorable!

I am always available via email or Remind app.  Do not hesitate to let me know if you ever have any questions!
