Mrs. Sarah Bedore

I hope everyone has a wonderful summer.  I am looking forward to the 2018-2019 school year and meeting all my students.

I grew up in Michigan, but have lived in NC for about 11 years.  I love it here!  I have taught 4th grade for 10 years right here at Dixon Road.  Last year was my first year in 2nd grade and I am excited to teach 2nd grade again this year.

My favorite books are The Lord of the Rings trilogy (I read them long before the movies, but I love the movies too).

I love all subjects, but I have a passion for Reading and Writing.  I love watching students grow as readers and writers throughout the year.  My goal is to help students love reading and writing as much as I do.

I've been married for 7 years and have a 4 year old son named Owen.  I also have 2 dogs and a cat.

In my free time I enjoy scrapbooking, gardening, reading, writing, painting, coloring, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.
