Mrs. Sarah Bedore
I hope everyone has a great summer. I look forward to meeting my new students in August.
I grew up in Michigan, but have lived in NC for about 15 years. I love it here! I have taught 4th grade for 10 years and 2nd grade for 5 years right here at Dixon Road.
My favorite books are The Lord of the Rings trilogy (I read them long before the movies, but I love the movies too).
I love all subjects, but I have a passion for Reading and Writing. I love watching students grow as readers and writers throughout the year. My goal is to help students love reading and writing as much as I do.
I've been married for 12 years and have a 8 year old son named Owen. He will be in 3rd grade at Dixon in the Fall. I also have 2 dogs, a cat, and 2 sugar gliders.
In my free time I enjoy scrapbooking, gardening, reading, writing, painting, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.
