I have been teaching for 23 years. I graduated from East Carolina University. I love working with young children and helping them grow as writers and readers and explorers of the world. I love taking time on the weekend for relaxing, reading and walking.

    *10:00- 10:30 : MTSS intervention/ MTSS google meets

    *10:30-11:00: LIVE google meet (Morning Meeting) / also RECORDED

    *11:00-11:30: Recorded Read Aloud (No students)

    *11:30-12:00: Lunch

    *12:00-3:00: Students work on posted lessons in google classroom/ Teacher lesson planning

    *3:00-4:00 Teacher Office Hours (Parent concerns answered)

  • JCPS Outdoor Mask Mandate Lifted

    While face masks are still required in all of our indoor facilities, students, staff, and guests of our campuses are no longer required to wear a face covering when outdoors. Students and staff may continue to wear masks when participating in recess or outdoor activities if they choose to do so.

    The online application for the Johnston County Public Schools Preschool Program is now available. Parents who are interested in the JCPS Preschool Program are encouraged to apply early, as availability is on a first come, first served basis. The application window closes on June 30th.

    Johnston County Public Schools has updated its plan to mark senior milestones, including prom and graduation while adhering to guidance from the Johnston County Public Health Department and the CDC in regards to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

    The Johnston County Board of Education voted to return Pre-K - 5th grade to Plan A, four days per week, beginning on Monday, March. 1.
