My name is Michelle Rogers.  I am the blended Preschool teacher.  I have taught Preschool for 16 years.  I have taught in Johnston County for 13 years.  I have a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education and a teaching license for Birth-Kindergarten.

  • Dinner with Santa

    On Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 6pm-8:30pm, please come to school and join your DRES friends and family for Dinner with Santa. This event was tons of fun last year with games and prizes, fairy hair, food trucks, face painting, reindeer food, and, of course, SANTA!

  • The Penguin Patch

    This year's shopping opportunity is called the Penguin Patch! Each classroom will have an opportunity to shop between December 5th and 15th. Unlike last year, this vendor does not accept online payments, but you can send cash or checks made out to DRES PTO. Gifts range in price from $0.50-$10.00.

    Our TA’s are holding their annual toy drive. Send new, unwrapped toys, appropriate for preschoolers to 5th grade, to your child’s classroom by Tuesday, December 13th.

  • JCPS to implement state-of-the-art security systems

    At the November Regular Session Board of Education meeting, the Board voted unanimously to improve safety and security in Johnston County Public Schools by implementing state-of-the-art security systems in each of the district’s schools.

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
