I am a native of North Carolina.  I grew up about an hour and a half from Johnston County. My husband and our two children are proud to call Johnston County our home.  

I have been a teacher in Johnston County for 19 years in grades 3 through 5.  My philosophy of teaching is that all children can learn -  in their own way and at different paces.  I enjoy teaching and seeing light bulbs go off in students' heads.

  • Kids Heart Challenge

    Congratulations Dragonflies on a job well done with the Kids Heart Challenge this year!! Our school raised over $8,600 for the American Heart Association. Please make sure that all donations are complete and turned in to Coach Bullock NO LATER THAN Wednesday, March 8th. Thank you again for being a "heart hero" and helping others.

  • Summer Camp Opportunity

    The SECU Summer Camp Awards Program is back!  SECU plans to provide FAT CAT youth members, ages 12 and under along with Zard youth members, ages 13-19, with scholarships for summer camp registration and associated fees.

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
