B.S. Early Childhood Education from University of Mount Olive Birth-kindergarten Certified

Ms. Joanne Moore

Ms. Moore is in her 6th year teaching preschool at Dixon Road Elementary School, but has been teaching preschool for 27 years.

Ms. Moore has taught preschool in Wake and Johnston counties and also works with the Partnership for Children of Johnston County during the summer.

Ms. Moore has a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Mount Olive.

She lives in Garner with her 2 daughters, Samantha, 22, and Emily, 14.  She has another daughter, Victoria, 27, who is married and has 3 children of her own.  Her grandsons are Branson, 9, Toby , 7 and Blayden, 3.

Ms. Moore loves teaching preschool and working with the Dixon Road families!

    PreK will resume face to face classes on September 28, 2020. Students will come to school on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Wednesday will remain a virtual learning day.

  • Kids Heart Challenge

    Congratulations Dragonflies on a job well done with the Kids Heart Challenge this year!! Our school raised over $8,600 for the American Heart Association. Please make sure that all donations are complete and turned in to Coach Bullock NO LATER THAN Wednesday, March 8th. Thank you again for being a "heart hero" and helping others.
