Hello, My name is Christine Avery. A little about me:  I am in my 20th year of teaching music in public school, and beginning my 12th year at Dixon Road Elem. I received my B.A. in Music Education from Campbell University and my Masters in Music Education from ECU. (Go Camels and Pirates!!) I am married to my wonderful husband, (retired)Principal Michael Scott Avery.  We have two daughters; Bethany a recent graduate of ECU in Graphic Design and Selah is a ninth grader at SSS in the IB program. Our pets are: Tigger and Luna our cats, and Platinum the albino gecko.
