Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education

Mrs. Amanda McLamb

Hi! My name is Amanda McLamb. I am from Benson,NC. I am married and have 2 precious boys. I attended The University of North Carolina at Wilmington where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Behavioral studies. This will be my eighth year teaching at Dixon Road Elementary. This is a great school which I am so blessed to be a part of. I am looking forward to a great year and can’t wait to see all of the wonderful things we will accomplish. I believe in creating a strong positive classroom community in which students feel empowered to explore, create, and learn. Every child is unique and learns differently and therefore has different needs. My goal is to help meet their needs in order to help them become a successful individual.
