Mentor Support

Administrators, Mentors and Mentor Coordinators provide our new teachers with invaluable information and support during the first three years of the new teacher’s career. On this page, you will find information and many resources designed to support these professional in this important role.

Mentor Requirements and Responsibilities:

The teachers selected to be trained as mentors are to have at least four years of experience and perform at an outstanding level in the classroom. They should also be willing to spend the time necessary to work with beginning teachers and have both excellent oral and written communication skills to be effective in this role.
