Mrs. Zoraida Bennett

Hi! I teach Spanish at Clayton High School. I am a former homeschooling mom of 4 now mostly-grown children, 2 boys and 2 girls. I taught for more than a decade in the New York City public education system. We then moved to the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania where I taught many subjects to many different grade levels in a homeschool co-op. My husband's job transferred us to North carolina in 2015. Out of all the places we've lived, this is home. I graduated from Columbia University in New York City with my Bachelors in Spanish Literature. Living in Europe further cemented my love of and fluency in the Spanish language. I received my Masters in Education from Lehman College in the Bronx, NY. I look forward to furthering my education by pursuing either a 2nd masters or a doctorate in Education Administration.
