Ms. Teresa Drian
Hello everyone! And Bienvenue!
I am Teresa Drian and will be teaching you French this semester. We will start off virtually and hopefully we will be getting back to the face to face environment soon.
I will be using Canavs as our online platform. My courses are housed in Canvas which can be found on the ClassLink app on the county website. If you need help finding this app and logging in, here is a guide on how to do that. Parents can go here to sign in to the Parent portal and you can see
- View a list of your child’s Canvas courses, with grades
- See each course Syllabus
- View assignments, submitted work, and events in each of your child’s Canvas courses
Every week students can view the schedule, Zoom links and the course activities for the week.
****Starting Aug 24, students will go to Canvas to get the video conferencing links for the week. You can get to Canvas from the ClassLink app. If you have any issues, please contact me.
Go here to see the CHS Parent Student Remote learning guide.

Every JCPS parent must fill out the Second Semester Choice form to choose either the Virtual Program OR face-to-face instruction for each of their students. The Second Semester Choice form is to be filled out for ALL students in grades PreK-12. If a child is going to participate in face-to-face instruction for the second semester, the parent will be asked to fill out transportation information for the student in the form. A form for each student should be completed by Nov. 30.
Information on social distancing in school settings has been recently updated by the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). Upon receiving information from the NCDHHS, we consulted with the Johnston County Public Health Department on the impact these updates will have on our school system. This ongoing collaboration continues to guide our decision-making as students return to classrooms for in-person instruction.
