Bachelor of Arts Secondary English Education Certification: English 9-12

Mrs. Nicole Swanson

Welcome to Clayton High School and English class!

Before we start talking about our class, a little about me.

I am a proud graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, (Go Tarheels!) where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Secondary English Education.  I began my teaching career in Cumberland County, as my husband was in the Army. It was during the post-9/11 deployments I decided to step away from the classroom and focus my energy on supporting my husband's soldiers and their families.  Fast forward to 2014.  My husband retired from the Army and our family moved back to my home community of Meadow, in southern Johnston County.  We have two grown children, a son and a daughter, and two beautiful German shepherds.  If you ask, I will show you pictures of them :)

Now, about our class...

Listed on the top left, you will see a link to my Google Classrooms, as well as my daily schedule.  Please take a moment to find your child's class and see what we are doing.  Also, know I am always here to answer any questions you should have concerning your child.
