Happy new year and welcome back to Comet Country! The 2020-2021 school year is my eighth year teaching Earth and Environmental Science at CHS.
I grew up near Toledo, Ohio, and majored in Middle Childhood Education at the nearby Bowling Green State University, where I also met my husband, Zack. We moved to North Carolina in the summer of 2013 and I began teaching at Clayton High that fall.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing saxophone, basketball, and "retro" video games, but I especially love spending time with friends, family, and our 6-year-old husky mix, Scout.
