Mr. Joseph Mott
This is my 7th year at Clayton High School and my 10th year teaching overall. My first three years of teaching were at Corinth Holders High School. I went to Laney High School in Wilmington, NC and then went to N.C. State University and completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees there. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and my Master's of Arts in Teaching.
I volunteer coach soccer here at Clayton High School. I've played it my whole life and have been coaching for about 10 years now.
I currently reside in Clayton, NC and am happily married to my wife, Kim. My daughter, Emma, is four years old and my son, Levi, is one. We have two dogs (Mattie and Cooper) and a cat (Lucy). I love to spend my time with my family and doing new, fun and interesting things!
I am very excited for another great year at Clayton High School! Go Comets!
