Mr. Joseph Mott

This is my 4th year at Clayton High School and my 7th year teaching overall.  My first three years of teaching were at Corinth Holders High School.  I went to Laney High School in Wilmington, NC and then went to N.C. State University and completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees there.  I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and my Master's of Arts in Teaching.

I am also the Varsity girls and JV boys soccer coach here at Clayton High School.  This will be my 4th year coaching at Clayton and my 6th year coaching overall.

I currently reside in Clayton, NC and am happily married to my wife, Kim.  My daughter, Emma, is a year and a half old and is the love of my life!  We have two dogs (Mattie and Cooper) and a cat (Lucy).  I love to spend my time with my family and doing new, fun and interesting things!

I am very excited for another great year at Clayton High School!  Go Comets!
