Have a great summer, Wildcats! See you in August!!

About Dr. Holley:

Dr. Holley was born and raised right here in North Carolina and has been teaching science for 25 years.  She has been teaching Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Physical Science in Johnston County since 2014, and more recently has been the ChemClub advisor.

Dr. Holley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Wake Forest University (go Deacs!), a Masters of Science in Environmental Education from Montreat College (the mighty Cavaliers!), and a doctorate of philosophy in STEM Education (go PACK).

Dr. Holley enjoys being with her family, spending time outside, quilting, and doing Sudoku.  She also enjoys helping students make sense of the science during the pandemic. Understanding the science behind social distancing, flattening the curve and herd immunity can help us feel more powerful in overcoming the circumstances that are impacting our world.
