Mrs. Dorothy Holley

Hello Wildcats!

About Mrs. Holley:

Mrs. Holley was born and raised right here in North Carolina.  She has been teaching science in North Carolina for 25 years.  She has been teaching Chemistry and Physical Science in Johnston County since 2014, and more recently has been helping students with campus recycling through the Science Club.

Mrs. Holley earned a Batchelor of Arts in Chemistry from Wake Forest University  (go Deacs!) and a Masters of Science in Environmental Education from Montreat College (the mighty Cavaliers).   She has been attending North Carolina State University to pursue a PhD in STEM Education.

Mrs. Holley enjoys being with her family, spending time outside, quilting, and doing Sudoku.   She is looking forward to helping students catch up and navigate learning Physical Science through the Pandemic! Activities that relate to science concepts make the time go very quickly!
