Hello Phantoms!  My name is Melissa Woodell and I would like to welcome you to Benson Middle School.  I am a graduate of North Johnston High School and from there furthered my education at Johnston Community College (A.A.S. in Business Administration), Mount Olive University (B.S. in Management and Organizational Development), and obtained my teaching license for grades 6-12 Business Education from East Carolina University.  I have been permanently employed with Johnston County Public Schools for 18 years and am looking forward to my thirteenth year of teaching at BMS.  I teach keyboarding and Microsoft Word to 6th graders and Computer Science Discoveries to 7th and 8th graders.  I am looking forward to being your child's teacher this year and as always GO PHANTOMS!
