Autumn Best

Degrees and Certifications:

Autumn Best

Hello, my name is Autumn Best. This will be my third year teaching 5th and 6th grade at Benson Middle School. Before I came to Benson, I was a teacher at Charles R. Bugg Elementary School in Wake County. I am originally from Franklinton, North Carolina, which is roughly an hour north of Benson. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I dual majored in Elementary Education and Special Education. I have always had a passion for teaching and working with students ever since I was a young child. I spent many summers with my aunt and grandmother at the pre-school where they worked. I have 4 “fur” babies at home, a dog (Henley), a rabbit (Latte), a green cheek conure (Rosie), and a ball python (Toni). I am a general nerd and love all things sci-fi, anime, and video games.

You can contact me at (919)894-3889 ext. 1416 or at
