Welcome to third grade! I am excited about being your child's teacher this year!

I graduated from Benedictine College in 2002 with a degree in Sports Management. I moved to North Carolina in the summer of 2002 from the Kansas City area. I met my husband here in NC and we have 3 wonderful children. Kaleb is a freshman in high school, Haley is in 7th grade, and Emma is a third grader. I was a stay-at-home mom for several years and enjoyed volunteering in my children's classrooms. At that time, I felt I was being called into the teaching profession, so I returned to school to work on receiving my teaching license. This is my 3rd year as a teacher. I love building relationships with all of the students in my classroom and helping them grow academically.

In my free time, I love spending time with my family and creating wonderful memories with my children. I also enjoy reading, especially while sitting on the beach. :)

I am looking forward to a wonderful year!
