Hi there! My name is Kayla Gross. I'm originally from New York and moved down to North Carolina after I graduated college from SUNY Cortland. This is my ninth year teaching! I started my career working in Lee County teaching second grade, then I moved to Wake County to teach third grade and now I am settling in Johnston County’s Virtual Academy teaching third grade! I am so excited about the new school year! I taught virtually for the last two years and really enjoy it! I found my passion in virtual teaching. I am so glad to get to do it again this year! It is going to be a great school year!
My family is very important to me. I have two younger brothers, two younger sisters, a beautiful niece, and a new niece or nephew on the way! I am a very proud auntie! I am a dogmom myself as I have two fur babies: Bentley and Quincy, which I refer to very often and use them as examples in all our classwork!🐶 My hobbies include reading, swimming, going to the beach, visiting with family and friends, and diamond painting.
