Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Jennifer N. Johnson

Welcome to Swift Creek Middle School!  I have been teaching for 27 years and continually fall more in love with the art and craft of classroom teaching and the reward of watching our future leaders grow academically and socially.  I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education at ECU in Ada, Oklahoma and completed my Masters of Science for  Exceptional Children at NSU in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.  My husband, Wil, and I moved to North Carolina in 2016.  We have four grown children, 1 grandson and one on the way!  In my free time I LOVE to spend every moment I can at the beach or outside planting flowers in my yard ( I know, old folks stuff)!  I am most passionate about stories that are hard to tear myself away from, flea markets (I LOVE turning trash into treasure), decorating boring spaces,Hobby Lobby end of season sales,  music that speaks to my soul, and being a grandma!

I am thankful that I was chosen to be your teacher and I look forward to a fun and productive school year!
