Mrs. Lucia C. Comastri

My name is Lucía Candelaria Comastri and I’m from the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am an EFL/ESL teacher and I have been teaching English for more than 12 years now. I have taught beginner, intermediate and upper intermediate students.
In my home country, I worked at elementary, middle and high school level. During the past two years, I was a teaching assistant at UTN (my university in Buenos Aires) and apart from my two teaching degrees, I hold a Master's degree in Digital Teaching and Learning.
 
In 2020, I was granted a Fulbright scholarship and I represented all high school teachers from my country. I am now considered a Fulbright Alumni.
 
As a language teacher, one of my main goals is to have students feel safe enough so as to test out how English works; they learn the language in a class they feel they belong to.
 
Outside of teaching, I am a dog mom to my 5-year-old lab, Joey, and a happy wife.

My favourite quote? “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." by Oscar Wilde. I believe uniqueness and originality should be celebrated because we all have something that makes us special. 
 
I am really proud to be part of this school and I have high expectations for the 2022-2023 calendar year.

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
