Mrs. Christina Franklin

Welcome! My name is Christina Franklin and I am so excited about starting my first year at Clayton Middle School as the 6th grade Resource Teacher.  This is my 12th year of teaching and 17th year in education.  I am originally from Florida where I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees from University of South Florida.  After a short stint of 5 years in Chicago, I moved to the Raleigh area in 2019 with my husband and 9-year-old son. We have enjoyed exploring the area and all of the activities it has to offer.  When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family (including our dog, hamster, and four cats), reading, making cards, playing tennis, organizing, taking my son to soccer and Scouts, being silly with my kid, watching TV, traveling when we can, and working on house projects.  I am looking forward to the first of many great years with my new CMS family!

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
